I would define Bucharest as a grey, cold and very uniform city. The arquitecture of buildings is very communist. Bucharest is a great city if you are finding a place to party at low prices. Something I found very original is that restaurants become bars and after they become clubs. You start your night in a very relax way but be sure that in would not end that way. In Bucharest everything moves around the Old Town. The old town counts with multiple restaurants, bars and you can find many beautiful orthodox churches to go in the afternoons. Rumanian people are super nice, willing to help you in anything you need.
In the day you cannot miss the visit to the Palace of Parliament which is the biggest parliament of the world or having a relax time in Herastrau park which is the largest city park in Europe.
If you are mood of getting drunk you cannot miss out the Shoterias where they sell the best and strongest shots to make your night fun.
The most fun place to party there is a place called Vintage. If you feel like eating after partying don’t miss out the Greek food and grabbing a kebab around 4 am.
